Victor Pilon will move mountains in Amsterdam

After moving mountains in Montreal, at the Olympic Stadium, in 2021, the artist Victor Pilon will relive his existential and moving performance Sisyphusin Amsterdam, next June, as part of the prestigious Holland Festival.

Inspired by the Myth of Sisyphus, by Albert Camus, and motivated by the tragic death of his companion, Victor Pilon offers a powerful reflection on the absurdity of life and its eternal beginning.

In Montreal, during a veritable 30-day marathon, the artist moved 300 tons of sand and traveled some 600 kilometers.

In Amsterdam, he is expected for a 12-day physical and mental performance, 6 days a week and 6 hours a day.

Note that the film, taken from the Montreal performance and to the music of Dear Criminals, will be presented in Quebec on Sunday, as part of the International Art Film Festival.
