Vehicle theft: teenager arrested after police chase in Terrebonne

A 17-year-old driver was arrested after a police chase for more than 15 kilometers, overnight from Friday to Saturday in Terrebonne.

The chase took place shortly after midnight on Highway 25 and Highway 640, according to the public affairs captain of the Terrebonne/Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines/Bois-des-Filion intermunicipal police department, Vincent Charbonneau.

“The driver finally lost control before hitting a snowbank in the Lachenaie sector,” he said. “The vehicle was an Acura TLX brand. It had been reported stolen in Montreal very recently.”
