With 14 world champion titles since the creation of this competition in 1990, the Côte d’Azur is the cradle of DH (down hill). Nicolas Vouilloz, Fabien Barrel and now Loïc Bruni are the Riviera ambassadors of this spectacular discipline. It was therefore normal for a round of the Coupe de France to stop over here, in Valberg. Admittedly, it’s not a World Cup round but it’s already a high level that will come to rest for 3 days in the Mercantour. The best tricolors will come to compete on a 3 km long track that you have to, you guessed it, descend as quickly as possible by mountain bike; bike equipped with all possible shock absorbers. Because a mountain bike descent is really moving. The show will therefore be there for 3 days.
