“We will not back down from this commitment.” Washington intends to continue supporting the “reproductive health rights” around the world despite the historic judgment of the Supreme Court revoking this right in the United States, declared Friday, June 24 the head of American diplomacy, Antony Blinken.

The State Department “will remain fully committed to facilitating access to reproductive health services and advancing reproductive health rights around the world”detailed the Secretary of State in a press release.

Seven states have activated the ban on abortion

Anthony Blinken also assured that its services “will do everything possible” so that all State Department employees can access it, “wherever they live”.

Friday, the very conservative Supreme Court buried the right to abortion, reversing its emblematic judgment “Roe v. Wade” of 1973 and returning to the States the possibility, or not, of prohibiting abortions. At least seven have activated this ban during the day.
