Benjamin Netanyahu considers London’s decision to partially suspend its arms exports “shameful”. The United Kingdom announced on Monday the upcoming suspension of around thirty export licences to Israel, out of the 350 existing ones, citing a “risk” that they are used in violation of international law in Gaza.In a post on X, the Israeli Prime Minister called the decision “shameful”.

Pressure mounts on Israeli Prime Minister to secure the release of hostages held in Gaza, after the bodies of six of them were found on Saturday. Benjamin Netanyahu has publicly apologized “for not bringing him back alive” these hostages and swore to make them pay “a very high price” to Hamas. For its part, the Islamist movement warned that the hostages still being held would be returned “in coffins” if Israel continued its military pressure “instead of making a deal.”
