Ukraine: discussions between US and Russian diplomacy open in Geneva

Negotiations open in Geneva, Switzerland, Monday December 10, between Russian and American diplomacy over the Ukrainian issue. They will continue two days later in Brussels. “These discussions are initiated in the hope of moving towards a de-escalation of tensions and, above all, avoiding a Russian attack in Ukraine”, explains Carole Grimaud-Potter, professor of geopolitics of Russia at the University of Montpellier (Herault).
