Two activists known to the intelligence services for belonging to the ultra-right movement, were sentenced to 15 months in prison, including six months, after being arrested this Saturday evening heavily armed on their return from Ukraine, learned this Monday franceinfo from concordant sources.
These two activists, born in 1995 and 1997, according to a source familiar with the matter, were arrested this Saturday evening at Paris-Bercy station (13th arrondissement), when a Flixbus from Lviv got off in the western Ukraine. According to the Paris prosecutor’s office, these two men were “in possession of optics and ammunition magazines classified as weapons of war“and declared”having fought in Ukraine“.

Neither of these two men had ever appeared before a criminal court, said the prosecution. They were arraigned on a prior admission of guilt for “transport of possession of weapons“and were sentenced to 15 months’ imprisonment, 9 of which were suspended, and prohibited from possessing a weapon subject to authorization for 5 years.
