Four people, including two police officers stationed in Hauts-de-France, were taken into custody on Tuesday, October 11, franceinfo learned from sources familiar with the matter, confirming information from the newspaper Le Parisien / Today in France.
They are suspected of having sold confidential information from the Vehicle Registration System (SIV) but also from more sensitive police files such as the Processing of Criminal Records (TAJ) and the File of Wanted Persons (FPR). The gendarmes of the Lille research section and the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN) are seized of the investigation.
