Two former employees of a vaccinodrome in Bordeaux were sentenced this Friday, January 14 in the evening by the court of the Gironde capital to a suspended prison sentence, for having sold a dozen false vaccination certificates, reports France Bleu Gironde. The case, one of the first of this type, broke out in August 2021.

The first young woman receives a ten-month suspended prison sentence and a fine of 1,750 euros, because she allegedly made the majority of the false certificates. She was tried in her absence, in solitary confinement because she had Covid-19.

The other ex-employee, who only issued two false health passes given to her accomplice, is sentenced to three months in prison suspended and a fine of 350 euros. The Bordeaux court accepted for the latter that the conviction not be entered on her criminal record.
