Patrick Watson announces not one, but two series of concerts in Montreal in 2024. The first will take place at the MTelus in February in a “normal” version, and the second in November at the Maison symphonique, in an orchestral version with the FILMharmonique Orchestra.
We haven’t seen the singer-songwriter in Montreal since his closing show on the large outdoor stage of the Jazz Festival in 2021, in the middle of a pandemic, apart from a small surprise concert he gave last summer at Molson Park. His previous visit to the venue, memorable sold-out concerts at MTelus, dates back to December 2019, four years ago.
Patrick Watson released his latest album Better in the Shade in April 2022. He has since continued a major international tour. Only since September he has performed in Mexico, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the United States.
