The ax fell at lunchtime. Estac has announced that the club is putting “on foot as a precaution, as of today, (…) Bruno Irles”, Tuesday, November 8. He arrived at the end of January 2022 at the head of the Trojan team from Quevilly-Rouen to succeed Laurent Batlles, the former AS Monaco player. His team, which occupies 13th place in the Ligue 1 championship, has not won the least of its last six games and is only three points ahead of 17th.

At 47, Bruno Irles therefore sees his first experience at the highest level come to an end. “The interim will be provided this week and until further notice by Claude Robin”one of his assistants, indicates the press release from Troyes, a club which belongs to the City Football Group, whose flagship is Manchester City.

He is the sixth Ligue 1 manager to lose his place this season after Peter Bosz in Lyon, Jean-Marc Furlan in Auxerre, Michel Der Zakarian in Brest, Oscar Garcia in Reimsand Olivier Dall’Oglio in Montpellier.
