“Fall asleep in Paris, wake up in Lourdes” : this is the slogan of the SNCF which again offers, from Sunday 12 December, night trains between the French capital and Lourdes, in the Hautes-Pyrénées.
These night trains, now available from Monday to Sunday, will all pass through Fleury-les-Aubrais, and will thus allow the inhabitants of the Orleans metropolitan area, Loiret, and beyond, to travel at night to Lourdes (in a seated position or in a bunk).
Fleury-les-Aubrais is the only station where this night train stops, with Tarbes: the Paris-Lourdes train will leave Fleury-les-Aubrais every evening at 10:14 p.m. on weekdays and 10:52 p.m. on weekends. Arrival in Lourdes is at 7:43 am. In the Lourdes-Paris direction, the same train (with the same stops) is also available. Prices: from 19 euros.
These night trains had been canceled five years ago for reasons of profitability, and its recently relaunched by the SNCF, at the initiative of the government: the Paris-Nice has already resumed service in May 2021 and had been inaugurated. by Prime Minister Jean Castex who had embarked on board.
