The Tour de France traces its route. Saturday July 9, the runners will go to Switzerland starting from Dole (Jura). If there are still two weeks of racing, the Slovenian Tadej Pogavsardouble defending champion, made a strong impression after winning two stages in the first week of the event and wearing the yellow jersey. Jonah Vingegaardsecond in ranking, tip 35 seconds behind the race leader.

The race approaches the mountains and the mythical passes that have forged the great history of the Tour de France. “There will be a beautiful day in Switzerland tomorrow and then next week the classics of the Alps, Galibier, Alpe d’Huez”predicts the journalist Gregory Naboulet. The yellow jersey could however have another rather unexpected opponent since one of the riders of his team has tested positive for Covid. He is not the only one in this case since the French runner Geoffrey Bouchard also has the Covid. Both were therefore forced to retire. All team members and riders will be tested during the rest day, Monday July 11.
