12:39 p.m. – Vejle, little queen of Danish architecture! The starting town of this 3rd stage has many rather exceptional buildings. An example: the Wave, immortalized below by franceinfo reporter Fabrice Rigobert. This complex of 20 apartments, which takes the form of a wave, was completed in 2017. It is inspired by the hilly landscapes of the Vejle region.. The view is also great since the Wave is very close to the port of the city.

Manage my choices

12:35 p.m. – The analysis of our consultant France Bleu. Jean-François Bernard takes stock of the 2nd stage: “It was a first key to the Tour, we didn’t get what we expected” especially on the Great Belt Bridge where curbs could be expected due to the wind.

The wind wasn’t in the game, in a good way

12:33 p.m. – A little word about the winner of the day before, anyone? Fabio Jakobsen, 25, is a miracle. On August 5, 2020, the then Dutch champion came close to losing his life in the Tour of Poland after a heavy crash. Placed in an artificial coma, in a “serious but stable conditionaccording to his team’s statement at the time, Jakobsen is returning to racing eight months later. “Incredible, as we say in French… I’ve come a long way” reacted the winner at the end of the stage “çIt was a very long process. Those who know me know all the sacrifices I made, it’s not for nothing”.
