Toronto | Michel Pagliaro will be inducted on Canada’s Walk of Fame

(Toronto) Quebec rocker Michel Pagliaro will be inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame this year in Toronto.

The organization has announced the names of a dozen Canadian rock artists who will be officially inducted at a ceremony on September 28 at Massey Hall in Toronto.

Pagliaro will be honored alongside 12 other singers and groups who distinguished themselves in the 1970s and 1980s.

Groups April Wine, Chilliwack, Glass Tiger, Lighthouse and Loverboy are among the inductees.

Michel Pagliaro, 74, began his musical career in the 1960s, but he really enjoyed success from the 1970s.

Among his best-known songs are The spy, Bombs and of course, I hear knocking. For this last song, “Pag”, as some call it, was inducted into the 2010 Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.

In 2016, he received the François Cousineau prize for the music of songs from the Foundation of the Professional Society of Authors and Composers of Quebec.
