The lead singer of boy band The Wanted Tom Parker, died at the age of 33 from a brain tumor, his group announced on social networks.
Tom Parker had revealed his illness in October 2020. The singer had taken the stage with his group at the start of the year. In a message posted on their Instagram account, the group said to themselves “devastated by the tragic and untimely deathby Tom Parker.
“Tom was an amazing husband to Kelsey, and father to Aurelia and Bodhi.“, added the group. “He was our brother, words cannot express the loss and sadness we feel. Forever in our hearts.”
The Wanted, formed in 2009, rose to international fame in 2012 with the single Glad You Camewhich has over half a million plays on Spotify.
