Luck smiled on three people residing in France, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, who won the Euromillions jackpot of more than 158 million euros put into play on Friday May 5, announced the Française des Jeux (FDJ).

Thanks to the combination of 3, 8, 18, 34, 49 and the star numbers 3 and 7, the three winners will share a prize pool which eventually reached 159.1 million euros, or more than 53 million euros each. They have 60 days to come forward.

Details on the localities in which the winning grids were validated will be disclosed once the payment of the winnings has been made. The biggest jackpot in the history of the European lottery in France dates back to October 15, 2021: 220 million euros won in Tahiti by a young Polynesian who was playing for the first time.
