The tragedy of the death of Thomas, stabbed to death in Crépol (Drôme) last week, provoked violent reactions from the ultra-right. Identity activists from all over France have stepped up demonstrations in Romans-sur-Isère, the town where some of the young people involved in the young man’s death are believed to have come from.

Demonstration in the Monnaie district
In Romans-sur-Isère, in Drôme, the streets are closely monitored by the police. Around forty ultra-right activists met in the city center, always to the sound of the slogan: “Justice for Thomas!“. The activists were quickly dispersed by the police. At least one person was arrested. On Saturday, November 25, in the evening, 80 of them marched in the Monnaie district, chanting: “Islam outside Europe!“. A 20-year-old activist was severely beaten and left naked in the street, he had to be hospitalized. This violence was condemned by the prefect of Drôme.
