Denmark, Sweden and Israel have decided to lift health restrictions aimed at countering Covid-19.
It is a decision with strong meaning. Pioneer of this measure, Israel renounces the green passport, the equivalent of the vaccination pass in France. Its use is no longer justified, according to the government. “The Omicron wave has been curbed. There is now a sharp drop in the number of seriously ill and contaminated”said Naftali Benett, the Prime Minister of Israel.
On the American continent, the Canadian province of Quebec announces the gradual withdrawal of the vaccine pass by March 14. In Europe, several countries have put an end to this obligation, this is the case of Denmark, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Croatia or the Spanish region of Catalonia. Other countries are partly abandoning the vaccination pass. It will no longer be compulsory from March 5 in Austria at the entrance to restaurants, hotels or to attend a concert or sporting event.
