Thomas Ngijol, currently in full promotion for the film Brotherhooddirected by his wife Karole Rocher and the daughter of the latter, Barbara Biancardini, returned, this Monday, June 13 on the set of C à Vous, on the fusional relationship he shares with the one he considers to be “her daughter“despite the absence of parental ties.
“With Thomas, it’s natural” says the 25-year-old director when talking about her professional experience with her stepfather. “At least we can talk honestlyt” she adds, since she is used to rubbing shoulders with him on a daily basis within her own family. “She is talented, she had her own path, she did not arrive there by chance” he replies in a glowing tone. “They are quite fusional these two, it must be said” Karole Rocher then intervenes to further highlight this natural complicity that binds them. “Barbara on a set with Thomas, I’m completely quiet” she continues. And she did not need to specify it to see the tenderness that the duo displayed in front of Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine. Shy for his first appearance on television, Thomas Ngijol did not hesitate to teasing her and making fun of her well-off behavior contrary to what he may know of her off-camera: “She simpers!” he laughed under the tender gaze of Karole Rocher.
Love at work and at home
Working as a family is a specialty of the house. Thomas Ngijol and Karole Rocher, parents of two little girls named Angelina and Carmen, have collaborated on several occasions, notably on the film fast life or more recently for black-snake. It is also with her husband that she financed a first version of her film Mrs Claudius, as reported The world.
As much accomplice behind the camera as in front, the couple had married in 2019, then strengthening their ties a little more. “That’s love: when you get married, you have your airlock, you have your security, you have something strong, you want to build. […] I can testify that it made me strong” had told the 43-year-old comedian on the set of the show Click. All are much more than Fratè, that’s for sure!
