After letting slip a four-goal lead the day before in Vancouver, the Canadiens again found themselves with a comfortable lead, this time 4-1.
But on this occasion, the team held on and ended up defeating the Seattle Kraken by a score of 4-2. Jonathan Kovacevic scored his first NHL goal, while Cole Caufield, Josh Anderson and Rem Pitlick added the other goals for the Montreal club.
At the Kraken, young Shane Wright also took the opportunity to score his first NHL goal.
