A joke that does not pass… For several weeks, TF1 had been trying to hide an open secret. Indeed, viewers of season 3 of Mask Singer were able to discover a large part of the artists who were hiding under the costumes of this edition. But fans of the program finally got to see who was under the one in the tree. Unsurprisingly, it was Gilbert Montagné. Not surprising in the sense that the investigators had dropped his name several times, at each of his performances.
It must be said that the clues given by TF1 could easily lead investigators and viewers down this path. However, as long as the artist in question does not remove his mask, doubt always remains. So when the interpreter of We are going to love each other removed the branches and leaves that allowed him to hide his face, cries of joy echoed on the set of Mask Singer. Especially since Gilbert Montagné caused a huge laugh when his “branches” touched Jarry’s private parts.
Kev Adams totally misses out
Laughter, there are every Friday in the TF1 show. It must be said that having Kev Adams and Jarry among the investigators, it is very difficult not to have a slight grin when you are in front of your television. However, Gad Elmaleh’s sidekick outraged his colleagues and viewers more than anything else this Friday, May 6. The reason ? His PPDA joke that didn’t go over at all. As a reminder, the former presenter of the JT of TF1 is accused of sexual assault by several alleged victims.
So when Kev Adams dropped a “It’s PPDA!” when Camille Combal asked “Who is that white hair there?” when Gilbert Montagné revealed his identity in Mask Singer…the set had a hard time laughing. A comrade, a bit outraged, even asked the comedian: “what ?”. On the Web also the ex of Iris Mittenaere was not unanimous with his humor. Hopefully he can catch up next week.
