These new Kinder chocolates highly consumed in December 2021 have just been recalled!

Bad news… Lots of Kinder chocolates have just been added to the long list of products recalled due to the numerous cases of salmonella identified since the beginning of April. Indeed, last Wednesday, a recall of Kinder brand advent calendars sold for Christmas 2021 was launched by the Ferrero group, owner of the Kinder brand. The reason ? The authorities suspect the presence of salmonella in these products, which have unfortunately already been largely consumed…

Which Advent calendars are affected?

All 2021 Christmas Kinder Advent Calendars (431 grams, 133 grams, 184 grams, 311 grams, 234 grams and 127 grams) are affected by this new recall… If you have purchased the following products, Ferrero Group recommends not to consume them and to contact its consumer assistance team on 08 00 65 36 53.

What are the symptoms of salmonellosis?

Salmonella is a bacterium that affects the intestine and causes an infection: salmonellosis. Not very dangerous for most adults, this disease results in several symptoms: gastrointestinal disorders often accompanied by fever within forty-eight hours of consuming the contaminated products.

Diarrhea, cramps, abdominal pain, fever, nausea, vomiting… If you suffer from any of these symptoms following the ingestion of one of its chocolates, do not hesitate to contact a health professional.
