The chosen one denies these rumors on Facebook (in Ukrainian)taking up with irony a quote from the writer Mikhail Bulgakov: “Do not read the Soviet newspapers before lunch”.

• The Russian and Ukrainian delegations are expected in Istanbul (Turkey) for a new round of talks. Discussions should begin “tomorrow”, according to the Kremlin. Follow our live.

11:08 : The Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, has announced a direct aid plan of six billion euros for households and businesses. The goal: to compensate for the economic consequences of the war in Ukraine. This plan, which will be adopted tomorrow by the Council of Ministers, “will be in effect until June 30” and will also include “10 billion euros” loans guaranteed by the State.
