Mickaël Luhaka, 38, Théo’s older brother, was sentenced to four years in prison, two of which were suspended, as well as a ban on managing for ten years. His prison sentence will be arranged under surveillance under an electronic bracelet. He presents himself as an entrepreneur, was prosecuted for having set up legal structures, officiating on paper in football or street mediation, in order to receive subsidies for fake subsidized jobs. In reality, employees did not exist or only worked part-time.

Theo Luhaka, less involved, was given a suspended sentence of twelve months in prison and a five-year ban on managing. The 27-year-old had received tens of thousands of euros in his bank account from subsidized associations. At the trial in mid-February, he maintained the vagueness of his exact role, arguing the lack of “memories”. The third brother, Grégory, was sentenced to two and a half years in prison, including a year and a half suspended.
