Saturday December 16, 2023, millions of viewers of the first channel were in front of their television sets to witness the most famous French beauty contest… A show lasting more than three hours at the end of which, it was finally Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais which won against the four finalists. Ève Gilles, a 20-year-old young woman from Quaëdypre, a small town with a population of 1120, succeeds Indira Ampiot.
A regional Miss who attracted the attention of Internet users from the start of the ceremony to the extent that this second year MIASHS license student (mathematics and computer science applied to the human and social sciences) was the smallest in the competition, but also the only one to display a short haircut on the Dijon Zenith stage.
A difference which visibly pleased the viewers… But especially the 100% female jury composed of Stéfi Celma, Adriana Karembeu, Nolwenn Leroy, Nina Métayer, Estelle Mossely, Élodie Poux, and obviously Sylvie Tellier, president of this assembly.

Miss Guyana, viewers’ favorite
And for good reason, a few moments after the crowning of Ève Gilles, the summary of the results of the 77th edition of Miss France appeared on the Web… And the result? It was the first runner-up to Miss France 2024, Miss Guyana, who won the favor of viewers.
According to this grid which mentions in detail the points awarded by the viewers and the seven members of the jury to the 15 pre-selected regional candidates then to the five finalists, the public twice placed Miss Guyana (Audrey Ho-Wen-Tsaï) in the lead, followed by Miss Guadeloupe, from Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, in third place, and finally from Miss Provence and Miss Languedoc in fourth and fifth place.
