The Voice Kids: Forced abandonment of a candidate, the battles turned upside down

This Saturday, September 24, 2022, TF1 will broadcast the second and final evening of battles of The Voice Kids. The four coaches of the season, Julien Doré, Kendji Girac, Louane and Patrick Fiori will once again be called upon to decide between their respective Talents. Those are eight battles of three that have been prepared to do this but, on the side of Patrick Fiori, not everything went as planned.

Indeed, the historical coach of the musical program had to resolve to set up a battle between two candidates only. And for good reason, one of her charges was unable to attend. This is’Oriana, which had caused a sensation during its blind auditions and made the quartet of professionals turn around. The young girl was unfortunately unable to make the trip for the recordings in France, she who is from Morocco where the borders are still closed because of the health crisis. Patrick Fiori will share his regrets on tonight’s show. “It’s a very big voice. It was the balance between the three. It is sad… I hope that Oriane will have the opportunity to come back to treat us“, he declares, as reported by our colleagues from Entertainment TV.

Remember that Louane encountered the same problem last week with one of his Talents, Zineb. She also living in Morocco, had not been able to go to the battles of The Voice Kids much to the chagrin of his famous coach. But the show must go on and the candidates still in the running at the end of the battles will all have an appointment for the semi-final on October 1st. The following Saturday, only eight will remain to compete in the grand final live. It is expected that each of them will sing a first solo song. After which, the public will have to vote for their four favorites (one Talent per team) so that they deliver a final duo performance with their coach. The public, once again, will then be responsible for defining the new winner of The Voice Kids.

The Voice Kids this Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 9:10 p.m. on TF1.
