The mind
Great resignation”, crisis of meaning, reconversions… Dropping out of school, breakdown of orientation… After the Covid pandemic, work is in crisis in France. The response of the Festival des Vocations: a happy sweep of outdated performances to move forward!
The goal
Putting talent back at the heart of professional choice, freeing it from representations that distort orientations by excluding professions that are as rewarding for the individual as they are necessary for society.
Side by side, a writing workshop and a carpentry workshop, one led by a novelist from Actes Sud, the other by three young Compagnons du Devoir. Talking at the same table, a civil aviation engineer and a cabinetmaker, a motorcycle mechanic and a computer scientist, or even a plumber and a neurosurgeon.
Some are “manual”, others “intellectual”. Beyond their differences, their professions share the vocation of REPAIRING, the theme of this 1st edition.
