For more than 15 years now, Le Vaisseau has been promoting science, scientific culture and techniques in a fun and interactive way to young Alsatians aged 3 to 12, in both French and German.

Since February 05 (and until November 06, 2022) Le Vaisseau also offers the Mission Gaïa escape game.
The climate is disrupted, animal species are disappearing… Programmed to save the earth, an Artificial Intelligence decides to eradicate humanity! You absolutely have to prove to him that you can take care of our planet. This is probably our last chance and… time is running out!
So you will join the VSO agency
Within a team of 3 to 6 players, you have one hour to test your sense of observation, your logic and your reactivity to solve puzzles and thus contribute to the preservation of biodiversity.

“Hello to you, new recruits of the VSO agency. I am an artificial intelligence
programmed to take care of nature. My calculations are clear: the only solution to protect endangered animal and plant species is to eradicate humans whose way of life is destroying the planet. But your agency claims they can repair their damage. If I have concrete proof, I am willing to cancel the destruction of humanity which is scheduled for an hour from now. So I’m going to send you to three different places on the planet: the Amazon rainforest, the Sahara desert and at the bottom of the Rhine…
You will now be teleported to these natural environments to discover what threatens them and find solutions for the survival of the species. »
Venture through the desert
This area recomposes the aridity and luminosity of the desert sands. It essentially relates to research and the meticulous excavation of objects. Circuits in the sand, symbols to decode or animal tracks…. So many puzzles to solve!
Dive into the Rhine!
To highlight and encourage local commitment, this room immerses participants in a local ecosystem, through the Rhine alluvial environments. An attractive and original way to address the threats to our nearby ecosystem.
In the heart of the rainforest
The tropical zone teleports you to the dense and lush primary forest. Discover the infinite variety of animal and plant species threatened by deforestation. Attentive to your environment, you orient yourself and manipulate together, to decipher codes and solve the enigma.
Practical information Mission Gaïa is an offer independent of the offer of permanent exhibitions of the Vaisseau. Specific times and prices are detailed below. The Mission Gaïa entrance ticket does not include the visit of the Vessel.

Terms of participation
- 7 years and over
- This escape game is played in groups of 3, 4, 5 or 6 people. Children under 10 must be accompanied by someone 16 or older. The minimum number of participants is 3 people.
- The duration of the game is between 1 hour and 1 hour 30.
