In the countryside, in the south of the United Kingdom, young Ukrainians are training. They are willing to go fight, but they have to be trained first. “Before the Russian invasion, I was just a simple civilian, like so many others. But with this war, I couldn’t go on living like this,” explains a rookie.

Military training, which lasts five weeks, is provided by British officers, supported by Ukrainian officers. Since June, nearly 6,000 Ukrainians have followed her.
