In the United Kingdom, the end of thermal engines will not take place in 2030. Denmark will bury its CO2. 34 million tonnes will be neutralized underground. Instead of seeing polluting fumes escape, they will be captured then reinjected to the bottom of the North Sea, where they will no longer be able to escape.
Norway installs solar panels in the Arctic
Solar panels will be installed by Norway in the Arctic. These huge farms will be placed on the islands of Svalbard. “Installing solar panels here may seem like a bad idea because in winter it is completely dark. (…) But in summer, we will have sun 24 hours a day, and the panels are more effective in the cold“, specifies Mons Ole Sellevold, technical advisor to the public company Store Norske.
