For 33 years, Jean-Pierre Pernaut was the one who spoke to the regions, the one who invited himself to the lunch table every day. At the Agricultural Show, on the morning of Thursday March 3, some are still emotional after the announcement of the death, Wednesday March 2, of the famous presenter from 13 Hours of TF1. “He loved the countryside, he loved real people, he loved defending farmers and the rural world in general”recalls a man.

Originally from Picardy, Jean-Pierre Pernaut started out in 1972, at the time of the ORTF. At the time, already, he knew how to highlight the inhabitants of the rural world.
