Arrivals and departures multiplied within Fort Boyard, especially after the end of Francis Lalanne’s contract who does not intend to stop there. With more than 32 years of adventure, the program broadcast on France 2 has marked several generations, in particular thanks to its emblematic characters such as Passe-Muraille and Passe-Partout who almost got slapped by Nabilla Vergara, Chef Willy but also Félindra or the famous Père Fouras.
But none of this would be possible without the production members and crews who are not visible in front of the cameras. Together, they form a happy little family. However, there are disappearances which have darkened this adventure, in particular with the loss of the composer of the credits Paul Koukak, at the age of 78, or the character of La Boule, Yves Marchesseau, who died of cancer in 2014.
This Monday, April 4, 2022, Adventure Line Productions started the week with sad news as it revealed the disappearance of an iconic member of the film crew during a road accident while filming the new season scheduled for this summer is being prepared.
“It is with sadness that we learn of the death of Etienne Daude following a road accident. An essential member of the Fort Boyard family, Etienne was a rope access technician there. All our thoughts are with his family, children and loved ones. We We offer our sincere condolences” we could read on Twitter.
This news has greatly saddened the fans of the show since they commented on this press release with messages such as: “Sincere condolences to family and friends… My thoughts are with them at this sad time… Namaste” or “I am very sad to learn of his passing. All my condolences to his family and friends.” but also “Sincere condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace“. As a reminder, there are many people who hide behind the show that we do not necessarily know.
