“The teacher won’t let me go out at recess”

Snippets of information, nothing more. Indeed, since the accident of February 10, 2023, information on the state of health of Devrim was thin, even almost non-existent. The six-year-old boy was seated in the back of the vehicle driven by his father, Yuksel, 38, and in which his 27-year-old pregnant stepmother was also riding. Together, on the D 372 in Villiers-en-Bière, they saw Pierre Palmade’s car arrive from the front and hit them violently.

An accident that led Devrim to the hospital for several weeks. To date, he has finally been released from the Necker hospital where he received numerous treatments. Unfortunately, the little boy victim of the accident caused by Pierre Palmade keeps many consequences. The proof, during his first televised appearance, at the microphone of BFM TV this Tuesday, March 21. The six-year-old boy answered questions from our colleagues with a corset that supports his neck and jaw. The shock to this part of the body, following the accident, causes him today to experience many difficulties when he tries to swallow foods that are too hard. And if he also has difficulty drinking, and will have to undergo another operation, Devrim says he is happy.

Devrim “happy” despite Pierre Palmade’s accident

Happy to finally be “come home”… with her corset. Because yes, his corset never leaves him even when he sleeps. Never mind, Devrim can walk and run and it makes him feel “GOOD”. However, on the side of his mistress, it is not the same story. She is very worried about her student, as explained by the principal concerned. Indeed, the son of Yuksel, indicates that “Ia mistress [le] don’t let go out at recess”. “She’s afraid that something will happen to me, she lets the other classmates come into the classroom to play with me”he informs at the microphone of BFM-TV.

But if he says “everything’s good”, his great-uncle Hakki does not really have the same speech. Near TF1he indeed lamented: “His left arm no longer works, and both of his knees are broken. He will never get back to where he was before. He has already been in the hospital for two months and he can barely stand up straight”. Devrim’s relatives should even “get behind him and pick him up to give him food and water”. A situation which, we hope, will evolve in the right direction.
