Sometimes, the passions remain buried for several years before being lived. This is the case for Valérie Mendiboure, who since childhood dreamed of becoming a pastry chef. After a career in the catering industry, she moved away from the kitchen and had a career in Human Resources for 10 years. But the passion was too strong, and last May, she decided to return to her first love and started her own business with “Aunt Cookies”.
Homemade cakes.
Cooking her cookies was a normal thing for Valérie, who until then had been content to please those close to her. “Aunt Cookies” is the name given to her by her nephews, used to enjoying their aunt’s creations.
Now, as many people as possible can enjoy her cookies, which she makes alone in her kitchen, before offering them for sale.
Cookies, amaretti, Breton palets or even oriental biscuits are some of the sweets that can be found on her website, tatie-cookies.fr.
