‘The Substitute’: Prince Harry’s book is the ‘most abandoned’ of the summer

While many people flocked to Prince Harry’s memoir on his long-awaited release, the book is also often left by the pool or in hotel rooms by vacationers, according to a travel company.

The Alternate would have been found in particular in garbage cans of several resorts in Spain, Greece and Turkey, explained the travel agency On the Beach to the British daily Daily Express.

According to the company, more than a hundred copies of the book have been found since the beginning of the summer.

“We have never seen anything like it. The lost and found offices at our most popular resorts are full of copies of the Substitutesaid Zoe Harris, the agency’s chief client officer.

“We found it funny at first, but over the past few months several other hotels have sent the books back to us,” she told the outlet.

The travel agency is now said to have libraries filled with the royal family member’s memoirs, so much so that it is asking hotels to stop sending them to them. “Otherwise, we will never be able to get rid of it”, underlined Mr.me Harris.

Recall that the book, which makes several revelations about the Windsors, smashed the record for the fastest-selling non-fiction book in the first week of its release, according to Guinness World Records.
