On July 2, Drena de Niro, daughter of the famous actor Robert de Niro, shared tragic news via her social networks. His son, Leandro de Niro Rodriguez, lost his life at the age of 19. Through a moving message posted on Instagram, the actor’s eldest wanted to show her deep love for her son and express her unspeakable pain.
“My angel. I have loved you with an indescribable love since the moment I felt you in my womb. You have been my joy, my heart and everything that has always been pure and real in my life. J ‘wish I was with you right now. I wish I was with you. I don’t know how to live without you; but I’m going to try to continue and spread the love and light that you made me feel so much by becoming your mom. You were so deeply loved and appreciated and I wish only love could save you. I’m so sorry my baby. Rest in peace”, she wrote under a photo of the young man after the tragedy.

More than 3 months after the tragedy, Drena de Niro once again took to her social networks to pay new tribute to her child who died of an overdose. “If everyone appreciated the depth of love and sadness, a person might think I don’t believe we would have wars, that we wouldn’t harm children or animals, our planet and people. oceans as we do”we can read under a moving photo of the young mother paying her respects at her son’s grave.
“I am grieving for myself, for my loved ones and for everyone who has lost a child or someone they loved so deeply”, continues the actress. Praying for the whole world to heal and for this heart that beats inside me to find peace.” A heartbreaking post which sparked strong reactions.
