Owl and ghost hunting in Dijon

Do you know the story of the Dijon owl ? “My France, summer” tells you the legend around the most famous owl in France. It sits on a wall of the Notre-Dame church, a remarkable art-Gothic style building.

But why do the Dijonnais and Dijonnaises all caress this owl? Legend has it that a phantom haunted the church. Caressing the owl would protect the spirits, the myth has spread since 1677. But beware of manipulation. Beware of those who caress the owl of the right hand. You have to touch it with the left hand, hand from the heart, so that wishes come true. Above all, do not meet the gaze of a mysterious hidden salamander on the facade: it would cancel your wishes!
