The pilot of the plane, Robert Sachs, is also believed to have died according to the Royal Police of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
It would be on the Grenadines archipelago that the single-engine plane crashed, after taking off around 12:11 p.m., off the coast of Bequia. In addition to Christian Oliver, the actor’s two daughters, Madita Klepser (10 years old) and Annik Klepser (12 years old) also lost their lives. Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police said the single-engine aircraft may have encountered difficulties and plunged into the ocean, only some time after takeoff.
