From his hospital bed, singer Kendji Girac finally revealed his truth to investigators by returning to his first statements. “He no longer says that the shot was fired voluntarily as he had initially stated. In a way, he ‘faked’ a suicide”commented Olivier Janson, public prosecutor of Mont-de-Marsan (Landes).

The 27-year-old singer claims to have shot himself in the chest. On the night of the incident, he had 2.5 grams of alcohol in his blood and used cocaine.
