the singer is a hit with his autobiography which has sold nearly 100,000 sales

On April 5, Florent Pagny unveiled Pagny by Florent an autobiography co-written with Emanuelle Cosso, in which the singer talks about his career, from his beginnings to his current battle with lung cancer. A crazy success since the book has sold more than 100,000 copies. Figures that prompted Editions Fayard to announce on Instagram the reprinting of 90,000 new copies to meet the huge demand and even the out of stock of some booksellers.

Was the main interested party surprised by this tsunami of love? “I never expected one day to be number 1 in sales for a book. It’s so not my field. I don’t read a lot, I was able to tell my life story but I entrusted it to the right person , Emmanuelle Cosso who knew how to tell it in a way with a style that makes you attach yourself to this story and devour it”he explained during his passage on RFM for the program Une heures avec, hosted by Bernard Montiel.

“We have known each other for 30 years so she knows the story from the inside”he said about the one who helped him so much.

Florent Pagny full of projects

In the podcast, The headlineEmmanuelle Cosso confided in her friend affected by lung cancer. “We will be super happy when the remission is really announced, but it’s not for now, we know that”, said the ex-wife of Kad Merad. The co-author confided in her motivation in the face of this relapse. “Florent is already teeming with projects and perhaps even more than before. Before writing the book, he didn’t really know where to go: ‘Am I going to spend more time in Argentina? I really want to start touring again?’ And there, during this period, suddenly he said to himself: ‘But yes, I’m stamping my feet, I really want to go back on stage’. He has lots and lots of projects'”.
