Blind auditions are over! Marc Lavoine, Amel Bent, Vianney and Florent Pagny now each have their full team.
This Tuesday, March 29, a few days before the next stage, the Battles, TF1 broadcast an excerpt from Florent Pagny’s coaching. The singer decided to oppose three women: Maggy, Natalie and Jade. A shock that promises since they will oppose on the title of Aretha Franklin: Think (Freedom)! Except that two (namely Natalie and Maggy, editor’s note) of the three talents found themselves alone in the room. When they entered the room, they found the interpreter of My Freedom to think on a screen. “I am like everybody else”, he said before revealing that he tested positive for covid-19. Just like Jade. “I have 15 talents instead of 14 which implies that I am doing a three-way battle”continued the singer who insisted on the warrior energy of the three artists. “With you, I will be very annoyed”since he will have to choose one at the end. “We’re going to have a screen complication, Jade won’t be able to sing with you because there’s a lag, a delay that’s taking place”said the coach before the rehearsal session began.
As a reminder, in 2021, Jenifer had to miss an episode of The Voice after contracting Covid-19, and she had performed her role remotely thanks to a screen placed in her coach’s chair.
The next episode of The Voice will take place on Saturday April 2 for the first session of the Battles.
Louane in place of Amel Bent?
In the latest issue of our magazine Public, still on newsstands since Friday March 25, we revealed to you that Louane who would replace Amel Bent, currently seven months pregnant. Discovered on the show in 2013, the singer will take on this role in the next season of The Voice Kids.
