Official figures aligned with estimates. On a national scale, the National Rally and its allies led by Eric Ciotti came out on top in the first round of the legislative elections, with 33.15% of the votes cast, according to the results communicated by the Ministry of the Interior on the night of Monday, July 1. The New Popular Front, a coalition of left-wing parties, came second with 27.99%. The parties in the presidential camp, united under the banner of Ensemble, came third, at 20.04%, and Les Républicains, associated with the various right-wing parties, finished fourth at 10.23%. Turnout also stood at 66.71% with 32,911,132 voters. Consequently, abstention stood at 33.29%.

Faced with the possibility of a far-right majority in the National Assembly, on the evening of the second round on Sunday, the left-wing coalition chose to withdraw its candidates who came in third place and were in a run-off in three-way races. On the right, Les Républicains are not giving their voters any voting instructions. For its part, the presidential camp has made it known that it would withdraw, but not in all cases.
