According to Gabriel Attal, the country “needs appeasement, it needs civil peace. And a project that is based on the stigmatization of a part of the French because they have a foreign origin, it is the opposite of the appeasement that we need, it would release hatred and violence”, he adds, while specifying that a country governed by the extreme right party “would drive our economy into a wall”.
