Bruno Retailleau’s amendment had not been retained by the government in the list of those included in the text to be submitted to a “single vote” at the end of the debates, since the government yesterday drew the 44.3 of the Constitution. The latter allows a single vote on the entire bill, without putting to a vote the amendments to which the government is unfavorable.
“Strike of Strength”
The senatorial left denounced “strike” and one “scuttling” of the Senate. However, it has not given up and continues to present its various and varied proposals and requests for reports, in the hope of preventing a final vote. In the absence of being able to debate and vote on each amendment, the socialist, environmentalist and communist senators use each time the full two minutes allocated to present them.
