A complaint for defamation was filed on May 27 against Marie-Ange Perulli, the former director of the Regional Health Agency in Dordogne, reveals France Bleu Périgord. She publicly stated that she “done everything to limit the opening of vaccination centers”, during the Covid epidemic. Now retired, she took office on February 1, 2020, just before the epidemic.

It was during a conference organized on May 8 in Saintes (Charente-Maritime) by the Independent Scientific Council, a body resulting from the anti-vax movements, according to France Bleu, that Marie-Ange Perulli spoke, as former director of the ARS. She stated that she “everything done to limit the opening of vaccination centers”, and that the doctors “followed national instructions without free will” journalists “who were looking for the little beast”.

On Twitter, the new deputy director general of the ARS, Benoît Elleboode, declared his intention to file a complaint. He deplored the “strategy” by Marie-Ange Perulli “because we have saved lives, thanks to and through vaccination”. The complaint was therefore filed on May 27. The Minister of Health Frédéric Valletoux had also requested, on X, that a complaint be filed “without delay”. Contacted by France Bleu, the ministry did not respond at this time.
