The radio switches to summer mode

Summer is on the doorstep and the radios are preparing to change their tone. I gave you some snippets of new stuff a few weeks ago. Here is a more complete table of summer programming. To your sun creams, go !

First, on ICI Première, Maxime Coutié takes the helm of the morning show, replacing Patrick Masbourian. Isabelle Craig will host the 9 a.m. slot at the start of the summer, while her colleague Evelyne Charuest will take over starting July 24.

The Martin Labrosse toner will once again accompany our returns home. As for the weekend mornings, they will be brightened up by Catherine Perrin and her team.

One of the novelties of the weekend is the show The 5 to 7 square that the unclassifiable Bruno Blanchet will present on Saturday at 5 p.m. I can’t wait to see what this show, which invites us to discover the “Quebec territory”, will look like.

Every day of the week, at 2 p.m., ICI Première offers the luxury of time to a crowd of guests who will have an hour to tell their story. During the week of June 26, Marie-Louise Arsenault will present The power of words with Amélie Nothomb, Daniel Pennac, Frédéric Beigbeder, Laure Adler and Caroline Fourest.

Then, in the weeks of July 3 and 10, Émilie Perreault will meet with André Robitaille, Jenny Salgado, Mani Soleymanlou, Tanya Lapointe, Kim O’Bomsawin, Marc Hervieux, Julie Le Breton (reprise) and Rodney Saint-Éloi (reprise ) as part of smugglers.

Rebecca Makonnen will then take over with Agents of change. She will welcome Carla Beauvais, Martine St-Victor, Varda Étienne, Liz Plank, Jay Du Temple, Barbada, Raed Hammoud, Marie-Claude Barrette, Mike Ward and Souldia.

Let’s stay in the world of interviews with political passion, on Saturday, at 1 p.m., a program during which Marie-Louise Arsenault will hand the microphone to Louise Beaudoin, Gaétan Barrette, Gilles Duceppe, Véronique Hivon, Monique Jérôme-Forget, Dominique de Villepin, Christiane Taubira, Giuliano da Empoli and Jean Chretien (reprise). It already smells of confidence.

While waiting to discover the formula that will replace Desalts on Sunday next fall, Sophie Langlois and Étienne Leblanc will be responsible for analyzing national and international news every Sunday at 10 a.m.

As I wrote, we observe a form of regularity in the summer programming. There are therefore several returns: Jean-Sébastien Girard with JS TendernessSunday, at 5 p.m., Eugénie Lépine-Blondeau and It’s my turnMonday to Friday, at 1 p.m., and Boucar Diouf with Nature according to BoucarSaturday, at 11 a.m.

At 98.5, once again, Louis Lacroix will pilot the morning show, replacing Paul Arcand who will take a well-deserved break. Around him, there will be Raphaël Doucet (sports) and Karine Robert (arts and shows).

Marie-Eve Tremblay

The great novelty of 98.5 is the emission Text Radio that Marie-Eve Tremblay will present every day of the week, at 10 a.m. The host has set herself the goal of astonishing the listeners. Program Director Julie-Christine Gagnon told me that the concept is very “promising”.

Philippe Cantin will be on the air Monday to Friday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and he will be followed by Marie-Claude Lavallée when he returns home. On weekends, it’s Louis-Philippe Guy, Claude Guillet (sports) and Anne-Andrée Daneau (culture) who will have the courage to get out of bed at dawn on Saturday and Sunday.

On Rythme FM, Ingrid Falaise and Eric Nolin take control of the Up early, weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 105.7. Late afternoons, weekdays, will be led by Richard Turcotte, Anaïs Favron and Maika Desnoyers.

The morning of CKOI, Stand up comedians, brings together Patrick Marsolais, Joanie Duquette and Mike Beaudoin this summer. The trio formed by Marjorie Vallée, Pierre-Luc Pomerleau and Alphé Gagné ensures the return to work (or the beach) at 96.9.

Rouge FM is also making several changes to its summer programming. Starting June 19, Joël Legendre, Joanie Gonthier, Phil Branch and Josiane Aubuchon will form The morning gang at 107.3.

Host Michel Charette

Michel Charette and Jessica Barker are already on the track every day at 4 p.m. with Copilot for the summer. Among the guests who will parade each week, we will find Simon Boulerice, Monic Néron, Vincent Bolduc, Kevin Raphaël and Cynthia Wu-Maheux.

On the side of WKND, we take advantage of the summer to focus on music. While waiting for the arrival of the new fall morning team (Maripier Morin, Patrick Langlois, Vincent Dessureault), Julien Poirier-Malo is on duty (with Vincent Dessureault) every day from 5:30 a.m. in We leave the same. Tobie Bureau-Huot and Marc-Antoine Nunez team up to A deviation from 3 p.m., at 99.5.

Starting June 19, ICI Musique will also be wearing sandals. Among the novelties that make me salivate at 100.7, the show Next exit with Claudine Prévost (Saturday, 2 p.m.) where the host sets out to discover places marked by music and songs.

Another novelty, The world or nothing with Raed Hammoud (Monday to Friday, 3 p.m.) presented as the “summer block party” of the summer on ICI Musique, as well as Sarahmee Horizons with Sarahmée (Monday to Friday, 12 p.m.) who will immerse us in his musical universe as Philippe Fehmiu normally does in this box.

Monique Giroux does not abandon us. She will be there every Saturday, at 9 p.m., with enchanted years. Among the returns, there is Yves P. Pelletier, on Sundays, at 10 a.m. I like the man and I like his rich and exploded musical universe. I’ll be at the appointment.

Summer is an opportunity to discover excellent podcasts or catch up.

Among the new features offered on OHdio, several documentaries will be devoted to the world of crime. In Story to die for: the Virginie Pelletier affair (starting July 3), journalists Nathalie Roy and Yves Thériault revisit the mysterious disappearance of a young woman in March 1989 in Saguenay.

In History of investigation: from murderer to citizen (from June 15), journalist Alain Gravel wonders if it is really possible to rehabilitate those who have committed murder. He meets four murderers and relatives of the victims whose testimonies are absolutely striking.

There you go, you know everything. Or almost. I wish a great summer to your headphones!
