On Sundays, the pubs are impregnated with another custom, that of the Sunday roast, which is a moment of relaxation with the family. “There is a lot of preparation behind this meal, you have to think about all the vegetables, the sauce, we have at least two days of preparation”explains a cook.

The meal, very substantial, always follows the same recipe. The flavors are reassuring and appeal to customers. Pubs were born around 1800. “Before pubs, people sold beer directly to their homes”, says a historian. Word “pub” is a diminutive of public house, which means public house.
