Prescriptions of psychotropics such as anxiolytics, hypnotics and antidepressants have exploded among children. Doctor Gérard Kierzek, present on the set of 8 Hours, Tuesday March 14, explains that one in 20 children uses these types of drugs, and that consumption has doubled in the last ten years. The consumption of antidepressants has jumped by 63% and that of hypnotics, used for sleep, by 155%.

“A real vicious circle”
