The Bas-Rhin prefecture publishes a new decree for ban the organization of rave parties in the department this weekend from September 9 to 12, 2022. Again, the prefecture fears that a “unauthorized rave-party type musical gathering” be organised.
A second arrest in less than a month
The ban began Friday, September 9 at 8:30 p.m. and will end on Monday, September 12 at 8 a.m. the transportation of sound equipment or amplification that could be used for this gathering is also prohibited, as is the circulation of the vehicles used, if any.
This is the second time in less than a month that the Bas-Rhin prefecture has taken such a measure. She had done so for the weekend of August 19-22, 2022. In the end, no demonstration was organised.
Last April, a wild “rave party” brought together 4,000 people in the Haut-Rhin in Orschwiller. The gendarmes had not been able to prevent access to the site.
